REMINDER!

Reminders are good. Reminders to make you believe in yourself, to help you stay rooted and to let yourself know that you are exactly where you need to be are of utmost importance in the life of every individual. So here’s a reminder to all those beings out there who need it.

To the being who feels away from his own self,

Look at the mirror. Look at how far you have come from the days where you couldn’t even stand and look at yourself , to this day when you stand up for your own self and lift those up around you. You have been nothing but wonderful all this while. Those small gestures of kindness you express around others and towards your own self makes you unique and worthy. Do not question even a bit of your presence today, as you have survived the worst of worst days even with a smile on your face. YOU ARE UNIQUE AND YOU MATTER!

To the one feeling completely unproductive,

You are a human. Feeling tired, bored and unmotivated is natural at times. You do not have to run at the pace of people around you. Your ambitions are different, your goals are different. You are completely different from every other being around you. You can let yourself breathe and relax for a day or two or to be precise till the time you feel you are ready. There is no rush out there. You have got it within you. Trust your capabilities and rest till you know you are ready. IT IS OKAY AND COMPLETELY NORMAL!

To the one feeling doubtful,

Feeling doubtful is okay. Feeling doubtful is a sign that you do care about a certain situation or activity but do not let the doubts occupy a space in your head larger than your capabilities. You are capable of things you feel you are. Take a moment and think about all those days in the past when you felt the same and yet you got through it. Go talk to your friend, your partner, your parents and you will be reminded of all the positives in your life. Take a look at your journal and how far you have come in all these days, months and years. YOU’VE GOT THIS. WE’VE GOT THIS!

To the one just feeling “meh”,

I understand you. I know how frustrating it gets when you just don’t know how you feel and cannot even talk about it. Take your time, write a journal, take a walk by yourself. Try to take one day at a time. You will get through this. You don’t have to feel bubbly and cheerful all the time. You can have your off days and just be like ‘meh!’ It is completely normal and you will snap out of it soon. WE ARE TOGETHER IN THIS!

To the one feeling overwhelmed,

Sit down. Close your eyes and try to just breathe. You do not have to stress and think about every emotion in your body. Those are emotions, they will go away. You are all you need and no emotion has the power over you. You control everything that happens within you. Take one emotion at a time and you are going to be just okay. Trust yourself and give yourself the time you need. You are a piece of art. No art is complete without the emotions in it. Your emotions are valid. FEEL YOUR FEELINGS, ONE EMOTION AT A TIME!

To sum it all up, you are worthy and powerful. Anything and everything that you feel right now is temporary. It will be over and you will be yourself again. Spend time with the people who love you for who you are and you won’t ever doubt yourself. Talk to your people. Be there for each other and most importantly be there for your own self.
